Claiborne Colombo is an abstract artist based in Portland, OR. Her works on paper use watercolor and mixed media to create an abstracted landscape that reflects internal states. Her work pulls from personal and fictitious narratives to blend together memory, reality, and dream-like states. Claiborne received her BA at Sewanee: The University of the South (Sewanee, TN) in Painting and Drawing and her MS in Communications from the VCU Brandcenter (Richmond, VA).
