Kello Goeller is a human-shaped creature rambling through Portland, Oregon and its surrounding forests. Her work contemplates the secret place where nature meets geometry. Kello’s work has been exhibited at New Museum and Museum of the Moving Image, New York; Timeshare, Portland; videofag, Toronto; and various international film festivals. Taschen, MIT Press, Routledge, and Index Book have featured her sculpture work in print. Kello’s animated films have gained Webby, Vimeo, and Student Oscar nominations, and broadcasts on IFC, VH1, and PBS. In 2014 she was awarded PICA’s Precipice Fund grant (Andy Warhol Foundation, Calligram Foundation/Allison Furlotti) and RACC’s Innovation Prize. Her upcoming exhibitions include a solo show at Duplex, Portland, and a film screening at Fondazione Prada, Milano.
