Melanie Flood

Melanie Flood is an artist & curator from New York. She began curating print projects for zingmagazine while Managing Editor in 2002 and in 2008 opened Melanie Flood Projects, an artists salon in her Brooklyn residence. Focusing on contemporary art photography MFP was featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, & Photo District News. After relocating to Portland, OR the gallery relaunched expanding programming to include sculpture, sound installation and video. A recipient of a Regional Arts & Culture Council Project Grant in 2014, her work has been exhibited nationally. She is an MFA Contemporary Art Practice candidate (2017) at Portland State University and holds a BFA in Photography from The School of Visual Arts, New York.
